– Transformation North East Dhaka Center

TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES, BRINGING HOPE
To renew the educational, health, and moral condition of those living in slum communities through a practical and sustainable development process that leads to self-supporting and godly individuals who impact their community and personal lives.
Activities
NEDTC has so far trained eight batches of women in machine sewing, taught approximately 600 children in the primary school, pioneered a basic computer course for adults, reached out to the parents/guardians with the International Child Development Programme, and handed out worm medication to the local community reaching many hundreds of families. Many community members have found a new path for their future through our project.

TNEDC has been operational for over five years and is continues to progress. Our goal is to develop and transform the local community where we operate in a way that ensures its long-term viability responsibly and effectively. The local neighborhood comprises impoverished households that accommodate families with low incomes. In addition to facing financial constraints and inadequate accommodation, numerous families grapple with domestic violence and substance abuse. The primary mission of TNEDC is reaching children and women in the area. We hold the belief that individuals who have experienced transformation have the ability to bring about transformation in their families and communities.
